Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking software engineers to build and evolve core data infrastructure for Payments data, enabling reliable decision-making and product development at scale.

You will work across data pipelines and collaborate with PMs, data scientists, and analysts to deliver scalable data solutions and improve platform efficiency while embracing full-stack challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software programming in C++, Java, Python or Go.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Scientists, Analysts, and Feature Engineering teams to understand data needs and deliver data solutions that meet business requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency, reliability, and developer experience within the data platform.
• Advocate and implement best practices in data infrastructure, software development, testing, and monitor to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of Golden Data Pipeline's (GDP's) systems.
• Address technical debt and implement optimizations.

You will contribute to enhancing the self-serve data platform capabilities, ensuring data reliability, scalability, and compliance, and empowering product and analyst teams to leverage Payments data.

Whether it is paying online with Autofill, using tap and pay in stores, or using the the company Pay app, the Payments team at the company is focused on making payments simple, seamless, and secure. In addition to consumer payment technologies, the Payments team also powers the money movement between the company and its consumers and businesses.
