Job summary

Randstad Singapore is seeking a Software Engineer (C++) / Software Developer for manufacturing environments. You will design, develop and maintain C++ software for automated manufacturing equipment, and perform user requirements analysis for enhancements to existing applications.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, manage software vendors, and drive process innovations in development.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in C++ or C.
• Exposure to equipment/manufacturing industry is required.
• SECS/GEM exposure is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Your role involves:

• Designing, developing and maintaining software applications using C++ for automated manufacturing equipment
• Conduct user requirement analysis for the development/implementation or enhancements to existing application
• Collaborating with across function to identify opportunities for improvements. This includes creating newly created features and functionality.
• Managing software vendors and providing technical expertise to business users
• Drive improvements and innovations in development processes

Skills and experience required

As a successful applicant, you will have at least at least 3 years of experience in C++ or C. Exposure to equipment / manufacturing industry is required for this role.

Exposure to SECS/GEM will be of added advantage.
