Job summary

ST Engineering's Training & Simulation Systems seeks a Software Engineer to contribute to design, development, and deployment of 3D simulation and XR software. You will work across the SDLC, writing clean C++/C# code and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Entry-level candidates are welcome. Familiarity with Unity or Unreal Engine is a plus. Join a team delivering cutting-edge simulation tech for defence, public safety, and enterprise applications in Singapore.

• Participate in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and design through to implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize software applications using C++ and/or C#.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build 3D simulation and interactive applications.
• Contribute to the development and integration of features within Unity and/or Unreal Engine environments.
• Support the creation of immersive 3D and XR (Extended Reality) experiences, including VR, AR, and MR applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in accordance with established engineering standards.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects in a timely manner.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to simulation and interactive media.

Qualities We Value

• Proficiency or working knowledge of C++ and/or C#.
• Familiarity with Unity and/or Unreal Engine, and an understanding of 3D simulation technologies.

Good to have:

• Experience in developing game engines or game logic.
• Hands-on experience in building immersive 3D and XR (VR/AR/MR) applications.
• Familiarity with distributed simulation platforms such as VR-Forces or VBS (Virtual Battlespace).
• Exposure to real-time rendering, physics simulation, or spatial computing concepts.
