Job summary

EXASOFT PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior software engineer to develop and maintain scalable Java/Spring Boot applications for enterprise clients.

You will design microservices and REST APIs, implement event-driven architectures with Kafka, and build cloud-native solutions on AWS. The role requires deep experience in databases, security, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of enterprise software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot in large-scale systems.
• Experience building microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable Java/Spring Boot applications.
• Design microservices and REST APIs for enterprise apps.
• Build event-driven services using Kafka and messaging platforms.
• Develop cloud-based apps using AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS).
• Design and optimize databases (PostgreSQL, SQL, Hibernate/JPA, DynamoDB).
• Implement security with Spring Security, IAM, and cloud security practices.
• Develop containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Set up automated build/test/deploy using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle.
• Develop and maintain unit/integration tests with JUnit/Mockito, troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with tech and business teams to deliver reliable software.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and develop microservices and REST APIs for enterprise applications.
• Build and integrate event-driven services using Kafka and messaging platforms.
• Develop cloud-based applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, and RDS/Aurora.
• Design and optimize database solutions using PostgreSQL, SQL, Hibernate/JPA, and DynamoDB.
• Implement application security using Spring Security, IAM, KMS, and authentication mechanisms.
• Develop containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Implement automated build, testing, and deployment using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito and troubleshoot application issues.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure software solutions.

Requirements:

• 14+ years of strong experience in software development and enterprise application development.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot, Hibernate, Gradle etc.
• Strong experience developing microservices and REST APIs.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud services, particularly Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, and RDS/Aurora.
• Hand on experience in CloudWatch, Athena, SNS, RDS, Route53 etc.
• Strong experience with Kafka and event-driven architecture.
• Strong experience in Terraform, SonarQube.
• Strong experience with SQL/PostgreSQL and Hibernate/JPA.
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Strong experience with Spring Security, IAM, and cloud security practices.
• Strong experience with GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.
