Job summary

Visa Hunt is seeking a Mobile Software Engineer (Android) to build consumer mobile apps for a privacy-focused technology company. You will contribute to Android apps using Kotlin, participate in rapid iteration, and collaborate with product teams to translate design into high-quality software.

You will develop native UIs with modern Android techniques and ship apps used by millions of users worldwide, joining a global team spanning Singapore, San Francisco and Paris.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Android/Kotlin experience is required.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Excellent software development skills and solid coding discipline.
• Strong grasp of software engineering principles and best practices.
• Bonus if you have building communications or privacy tools.
• Bonus if you have open source contributions.

Responsibilities

• Building Android apps in Internet Privacy and Communications space
• Development of Android apps in quick iteration cycles
• Deep, hands-on programming and technical design, driven by your capability to learn new technologies quickly
• Working closely with product team about design and technical implementation
• Implementing custom native user interfaces using the latest Android/Kotlin programming techniques

Requirements
