Overview

The Consultant is responsible for gathering, analysing, and formalising user’s business requirements and processes, evaluating the feasibility of implementation and managing the scope of the project.

What we seek to accomplish together:

1. Gather, analyse, and formalise user’s business requirements and processes, evaluate the feasibility of implementation and manage the scope of the project.
2. Prepare project documentation such as Requirement Specifications/Use Case Specifications etc. Adhere to project scope, update requirement traceability matrix, inform and record out-of-scope issues.
3. Develop technical design specification and translate technical design into process/program specification. Involve in the design review session.
4. Make changes to configurable items, which include hardware, software, documentation, etc.
5. Participate in Coding and Code Review.
6. Assist in the integration testing, system testing, User Acceptance Test & implementation activities.
7. Prepare user manual and operations manual, and plan & facilitate training of users and operators.
8. Provide post-implementation support (including production support and service requests).
9. Escalate and discuss critical issues such as scope creep with the relevant managers.
10. Conduct requirement gathering sessions. Conduct gap analysis of current business process to identify improvement opportunities.

A little bit about you:

1. Typically 2-4 years IT working experience.
2. Must have skill set in Oracle PL/SQL and Java.
3. Good to have skill set in ProC language, Web service, and cloud.
4. Possess relevant system development/maintenance experience using Java-related technologies.
5. Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
6. Ability to produce specifications for documentation and implementations.
7. Experience in IT business analysis techniques.
8. Self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude, creative with excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills including strong persuasive techniques.
9. Ability to lead, develop, and maintain respectful and trusting relationships.
10. Proficient in written and spoken English.
11. Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology related field, or IT equivalent.
12. Able to travel as required.
