About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Software Engineer to join the R&D team in developing cutting-edge software solutions for advanced semiconductor packaging equipment. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing high-performance software systems that drive automation, precision control, and intelligent data processing in semiconductor manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software for semiconductor equipment, including modules for motion control, data acquisition, and process automation.
  • Collaborate with hardware, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of software with precision components.
  • Develop real-time and embedded software systems for high-speed, high-precision manufacturing equipment.
  • Conduct rigorous testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure software reliability and efficiency.
  • Integrate advanced technologies such as machine learning, computer vision, and AI to enhance manufacturing capabilities (where applicable).
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, cybersecurity protocols, and data integrity requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on scalability, maintainability, and performance optimization.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and provide training and support to internal stakeholders.
  • Adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards in accordance with Singapore’s workplace regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Proven experience in software development, preferably within the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industry.
  • Strong proficiency in C++, particularly for embedded systems, automation, or UI/UX development.
  • Familiarity with data analytics, AI/ML, or computer vision technologies is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and innovative mindset.
