Job summary

Hunter Bond is recruiting a Senior Software Developer (Python) for an elite FinTech in Singapore to build high-performance, real-time systems and contribute to a proprietary database.

You will develop scalable Python infrastructure handling massive data throughput, with exposure to latency-sensitive environments and research-driven projects using languages such as Rust, Erlang, and OCaml-inspired internally developed languages.

I'm working with an elite FinTech firm that's looking to hire experienced Python Developers who enjoy building complex, high-performance systems and solving challenging engineering challenges.

Role: Senior Software Developer (Python)

Compensation: Up to SGD $280k total first-year package

What you'll be working on:

• Building and optimising advanced infrastructure capable of processing billions of data points every second.
• Developing high-performance systems in Python while gaining exposure to latency-sensitive, real-time environments.
• Contributing to the design and development of a proprietary high-performance database built from the ground up.
• Working on research-driven engineering projects involving functional programming concepts and technologies such as Rust, Erlang, and internally developed languages inspired by OCaml.
• Improving infrastructure that supports machine learning workflows and enables research models to move into production.

What we're looking for:

• Strong commercial experience developing software using modern Python.
• A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another closely related technical discipline.
• Experience working in environments where performance, scalability, efficiency, and reliability are critical.
