Job description

The Senior Software Engineer (Salesforce) is responsible for maintaining and securing existing Salesforce applications in compliance with established policies, and creating applications and providing technical solutions in close collaboration with business stakeholder/s involved with the project.

Make An Impact By

  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot incidents and integration-related issues.
  • Fulfill service requests such as report generation, data extraction, and data patching.
  • Manage and administer the Salesforce application, including user and license management, record archiving, sandbox provisioning, configuration, and security.
  • Collaborate on design and solutioning, participating in the overall system design and technical solutions.
  • Support the deployment of software packages to lower and production environments.
  • Analyze business requirements deeply and implement end-to-end solutions.
  • Convert end-user requirements into technical documentation for developers (onshore and offshore, if applicable).
  • Recommend new Salesforce products, features, and improvements to optimize platform usage and add business value.
  • Develop, test, and document all implementation work rigorously and accurately.
  • Work in Agile/Scrum methodology.

Skills for Success:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • 4–6 years of experience in Salesforce administration, including Sales and Service Cloud implementation.
  • Strong experience in Salesforce development, customization, and day-to-day administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering customer projects, preferably enterprise CRM implementations.
  • Experience building solutions in the telecom industry (preferred).
  • Salesforce certifications (preferred): Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform Developer 1 and Platform Developer 2.
  • Hands-on experience with Lightning development using Lightning components, Apex, Apex Test Classes, Visualforce, and integrating Salesforce with third-party apps/tools using SOAP and REST APIs.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.
  • Experience designing Salesforce asynchronous processes using Batch Apex, Schedulable Apex, Future Methods, and Queueable Classes.
  • Proficiency in designing configurable solutions using Lightning Flows.
  • Experience writing test classes for maximum code coverage.
  • Expertise in custom objects, Process Builder, Flows, Triggers, Workflow Approvals, Web Services, and Data Utilities.
  • Proficiency in implementing Salesforce SOQL, SOSL, and dynamic queries.
  • Expertise in Salesforce triggers, following trigger frameworks and design patterns like Singleton/Trigger Factory Pattern.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in designing Salesforce code and customizations according to Salesforce best practices.
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Einstein Analytics, or other Salesforce products (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Salesforce governor limits and change management/release processes.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning Design System and SFDX (preferred).
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party and custom in-house applications.
  • Experience using tools like AutoRABIT CI/CD (preferred).
  • Knowledge of MuleSoft or other middleware tools compatible with Salesforce SaaS is a plus.
