MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

Essential Responsibilities:

• Approximately 5 years of experience in the financial services supporting trading and post-trade systems.
• Experience managing complex deployments and environments
• Experience supporting applications in a Linux environment
• An understanding and ability to develop monitoring and write Infrastructure as code (IaC) to resolve incident management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND:

Essential

• Experience with application monitoring systems such as NetData or DataDog
• Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira
• Experience with resolving incidents via programming and configuration management
• ITIL certification or equivalent incident management training
• An understanding of the FIX protocol

TECHNICAL/BUSINESS SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

Essential

• Strong ownership experience and a track record of delivering results
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
