Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a Project Manager to oversee software coding, troubleshooting, and project activities. Role includes documenting processes, planning scopes, and coordinating with customers for successful launches.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in engineering and at least 2 years in PLC programming and project management, with strong communication and safety knowledge. On-site role with potential for cross-functional collaboration and training sessions for customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years in PLC programming and project management.
• Strong verbal, reading, and writing communication skills.
• Solid understanding of control system configuration and third-party equipment integration.
• Experience with startup and maintenance of process control projects.
• Proficient in Twincat PLC 2.x and/or Twincat 3.
• Excellent programming skills in structured text per IEC 61131 and PLCopen.
• Ability to work independently with project experience in mechanical engineering.
• Familiarity with software design, especially component and interface design.
• Knowledge of safety practices and procedures; certified fit for SCBA.
• Desirable: sales support experience, Beckhoff hardware, Profibus, servo drives, and regulated industry programming.
• Knowledge of CE and semi-standards, MES, SCADA, OO programming, pair programming, and Git.

• Oversee on-site commissioning of products and services.
• Supervise customers during production launches.
• Conduct training sessions for customers.
