Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Singapore is seeking a senior regional technology leader to deliver and evolve digital solutions across APAC. You will own applications, guide architecture, and contribute hands-on development across data, AI and business apps within the company reference architectures.

You will translate business needs into digital products, manage roadmaps and backlogs, design integrations, data pipelines and dashboards using Azure, Databricks and Power BI, and govern

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent.
• At least 5 years’ experience in software development or related IT roles.
• Hands-on experience delivering cloud-based business solutions through full SDLC.
• Experience combining application ownership with technical delivery, including stakeholder and backlog management.
• Practical experience in Data and Analytics; exposure to AI-enabled solutions is valued.
• Hands-on development with Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript, including REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services (Functions, App Services, Storage, Data Factory).
• Working experience with SQL, Azure Databricks, data modelling and Power BI.
• Knowledge of integration, event-driven architecture, secure system communication.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, Agile and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of Generative AI, Azure OpenAI or ML is desirable; low-code is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement digital solutions including apps, integrations, automations, dashboards and data products.
• Lead technical design decisions aligned with security, architecture and engineering standards.

• Identify and deliver AI-enabled solutions with governance and oversight.
• Coordinate vendors and external partners when needed.
• Manage budgets in cooperation with business units.
• Plan testing, deployment, data conversion and transition-to-support with Agile/DevOps practices.
• Support incident resolution, vulnerabilities and technical debt to keep applications secure and up to date.

Role Summary

Lead the delivery, evolution and continuous improvement of digital solutions across the company APAC, combining application ownership, technical leadership and hands‑on development across business applications, data and AI.

Act as the regional technical reference, ensuring reliable and secure applications while accelerating the design, development and implementation of scalable solutions aligned with business needs and the company reference architectures.

Responsibilities

• Work with Business Units to identify, prioritize and translate business needs into digital products, projects and user stories.
• Own the lifecycle, roadmap, backlog, service quality and continuous improvement of assigned regional applications.
• Design, develop and implement digital solutions, including applications, integrations, automations, dashboards and data products.
• Lead technical design decisions and ensure alignment with security policies, architecture principles and engineering standards.
• Build and maintain integrations using APIs, web services, event‑driven patterns and cloud‑native services.
• Design and support data pipelines, data models and analytical solutions using Azure, Databricks, SQL and Power BI.
• Identify and deliver practical AI‑enabled solutions, including intelligent automation and Generative AI use cases, with appropriate governance.
• Coordinate software vendors and development partners when external capacity or specialist capabilities are required.
• Manage application and development budgets in cooperation with Business Unit representatives.
• Plan and execute testing, deployment, data conversion and transition‑to‑support activities using Agile and DevOps practices.
• Support the resolution of critical incidents, vulnerabilities and technical debt, ensuring applications remain secure, supported and up to date.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent.
• At least 5 years’ experience in software development, digital solutions, enterprise applications or related IT roles.
• Hands‑on experience designing and delivering cloud‑based business solutions through the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience combining application ownership with technical delivery, including stakeholder, vendor and backlog management.
• Practical experience in Data and Analytics; exposure to AI‑enabled solutions is highly valued.
• Hands‑on development experience with Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript, including REST APIs and reusable components.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, preferably Azure Functions, App Services, Storage, Data Factory, Event Hub and API Management.
• Working experience with SQL, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, data modelling and Power BI.
• Knowledge of application integration, event‑driven architecture, streaming and secure system‑to‑system communication.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, Agile delivery and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of Generative AI, Azure OpenAI, intelligent automation or machine learning is desirable; low‑code platforms are a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into pragmatic technical solutions.
• Hands‑on problem‑solving and ownership from concept through production support.
