Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Software Development Engineer Intern to join the File System Service team in Singapore. You will work on development, maintenance, and operation of a production backend, including APIs like GraphQL, applying Specification Driven Development and agentic AI workflows to enhance reliability and capabilities.

The role involves bug fixing, debt reduction, and collaboration with engineers on real product features, with a 6-month full-time internship from January 11 to June 25,

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, graduating in 2027 or 2028.
• Strong programming skills, preferably in Java and/or Python.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance capabilities of the File System Service, including API-related features.
• Maintain and improve reliability, fix bugs, and address technical debt.
• Apply Specification Driven Development (SDD) to software changes.
• Explore and implement agentic AI workflows to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver production-relevant backend capabilities.
