Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Software Development Engineer Intern to work with the engineering team on the File System Service, applying SDD and agentic AI workflows to build and enhance API-related features. The role covers development, maintenance, and operation of a production backend while addressing technical debt and reliability.

The 6‑month internship runs Jan 11, 2027 to Jun 25, 2027, onsite in Singapore, with an in-person recruitment drive from Oct 9 to Nov 6, 2026.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, graduating in 2027 or 2028.
Strong programming skills, preferably in Java and/or Python.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

Work with engineers to develop and enhance capabilities of the File System Service, including API-related features.
Maintain and improve service reliability through bug fixing and debt reduction.
Apply Specification Driven Development (SDD) for software changes validation and verification.
Collaborate to keep the service reliable and operational.
Explore and implement agentic AI workflows to accelerate engineering tasks and improve efficiency.
