Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and versatile Software Developer with strong proficiency in Microsoft .NET technologies, front-end development, and relational databases. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of delivering enterprise-level solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable web applications using Microsoft .NET framework/.NET Core and front-end technologies.
• Build robust and maintainable code for enterprise applications using ASP.NET, C#, HTML/DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and AJAX.
• Contribute to back-end development using Java (JDK 1.7 and above), and develop and maintain scripts and utilities using Python.
• Work with relational databases such as MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, and Amazon Aurora, including advanced SQL scripting.
• Develop and manage data transformations and integrations using XML and XSLT.
• Develop and consume SOAP and REST-based web services, ensuring alignment with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) standards.
• Leverage AWS cloud services including Lambda, SQS, Secrets Manager, and CloudFormation in application development and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design technical solutions, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.

• Have experience with Python scripting.
• Has a working experience with relational databases such as MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, or Amazon Aurora.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in XML and XSLT development.
• At least 1 year of practical experience in SOA/web services integration (SOAP and/or REST).
• At least 1 year of experience using AWS services: Lambda, SQS, Secrets Manager, and CloudFormation.

Preferred Experience

• The Candidate is preferred to have experience working in areas digital preservation and archival domain.
• The Candidate is preferred to have experience working with excel objects, building interfaces to other applications in the .Net platform and possess the ability to analyse/extract data for batch processing/ingestion
• The Candidate is preferred to have working experience in doing system design and documentation that are thorough, concise as well as easily readable, such as data modelling, functional specifications, design specifications, interface specification and sequence diagram.
