Job summary

AMBRELLA PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Java software engineer to design, implement, and deliver robust software solutions in Singapore. You will work with Spring Boot, J2EE, SQL/Oracle and modern testing frameworks, ensuring secure and scalable web applications.

The role requires familiarity with Eclipse, GitHub, SoapUI, Postman, Jira and SVN, plus exposure to Newgen product suites and BPM concepts. Prior API integration and DevOps exposure (Jenkins/Sonar) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Java-based software projects with Spring Boot, J2EE and SQL/Oracle.
• Strong knowledge of JUnit and Mockito for unit and integration tests.
• Familiarity with Eclipse, GitHub, SoapUI, Postman, Jira and SVN.
• Understanding of Newgen product suite and BPM concepts.
• Web application security focus and REST/SOAP API integration skills.
• Experience with third-party integrations (Corpass, SingPass, Core Banking) is a plus.
• Knowledge of app servers (Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss) and DevOps (CI/CD, Jenkins, Sonar).
• AWS platform experience is advantageous.

• Major duties involve designing, implementing, and completing quality software projects using JAVA technologies like Spring Boot, SQL/Oracle, J2EE, Junit, Mockito, JQuery and Javascript.
• Candidates should have experience with Eclipse, GitHub, Soap UI, Postman, Jira, and SVN.
• Familiarity with the Newgen Product suite, including NewgenOne, iBPS, ECM/OmniDocs, O2MS/CCM, and strong understanding of business process management concepts is required.
• The preferred candidate will show strong skills in web application security, REST/SOAP API integration, as well as performance and scalability.
• Prior work with third-party integrations such as Corpass, SingPass, or Core Banking is good to have.
• Experience with application servers like Apache Tomcat, WebLogic, or JBoss is preferred.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and Sonar is beneficial.
• Practical experience working on the AWS platform is also an advantage.
