Job summary

COMBUILDER PTE LTD is seeking a capable Data Engineer to design, develop and maintain data solutions.

You will build scalable data pipelines, integrate data from multiple sources, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related discipline.
• Proven software development or data engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java; SQL proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications, backend services, and data solutions.
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Integrate data from multiple sources and systems to support business requirements.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, databases, and data models.
• Build applications, scripts, and automation using Python/Java.
• Develop and integrate APIs for connectivity.
• Perform data validation, quality checks, and troubleshooting.
• Implement monitoring and alerting for data pipelines and apps.
• Optimize software, database, and data-processing performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
• Participate in full software lifecycle including testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Ensure data integrity, reliability, and security across pipelines.
