Role: Software Consultant

Experience: 10+ Years

Budget: S$ 7000 – 9500

• Programming: PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, R, SAS
• Databases: Oracle, DB2, MS SQL Server, Teradata
• OS & Tools: Unix/Linux, Windows, AS400, Control-M, Aldon, MS Visio, Atlassian, Ansible, YAML
• Version Control: GitHub, TortoiseSVN, DevOps
• Cloud / Data Platforms: Google BigQuery, Hive (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end data warehouse and ETL development projects using Informatica, PL/SQL, and Shell scripting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
• Perform data analysis, profiling, and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems.
• Design and develop BI dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, and SAS Studio.
• Manage and monitor batch processes using CONTROL-M Scheduler, optimizing SQL performance and improving system throughput.
• Oversee data migration projects, including platform transitions (AIX to Solaris/Linux) and database upgrades (Sybase to Oracle).
• Ensure compliance with ITIL standards by managing incident, change, release, and configuration processes.
• Develop technical documentation including architecture diagrams, implementation plans, and testing strategies.
• Support regulatory reporting requirements such as FATCA by generating validated data extracts and submissions to tax authorities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (onshore/offshore) and ensure timely delivery of data solutions aligned with SLAs.
• Provide production support, root cause analysis, bug fixes, and system performance improvements.
