As part of a growing team innovating at the cutting edge of renewable energy, you will be focused on technical knowledge sharing for a new product vertical within a highly cross-functional corporate environment that fosters creativity and collaboration.

Position: Software Business Development Manager (based in Hyderabad)

Reporting to: Software Business Development Director

Responsibilities:

  1. Drive software sales through technical engineering, finance management, and procurement functions to exceed sales targets (TrueCapture and Navigator products).
  2. Conduct solar power plant financial analysis, deal structuring, and price negotiations.
  3. Perform financial model deep dives with customers to demonstrate ROI on software investments.
  4. Present business development proposals to customers and partners (directors and executives).
  5. Map customer organizations, navigate relationships, and identify key decision-makers.
  6. Lead contract negotiations and redlining processes.
  7. Partner closely with NX customer account managers to drive software sales.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Highly motivated and energetic with an agile mindset.
  • Refined executive-level communication and presentation skills.
  • 7-10 years of business development experience in the renewable energy industry.
  • Experience in financial modeling (IRR, ROI, NPV) and value-based sales.
  • Contract and price negotiation skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Solar project development and financing processes.
  • Business development with new-to-market and mature technologies.
  • Lenders, Independent Engineering processes.
  • Salesforce account management.
