As an experienced Software Architect, you will design and guide the development of cutting-edge software for advanced high-tech projects. You will work from one of our Asia offices on high-performance equipment for semiconductors.
This role involves supporting our customers with user-friendly, high-quality, and cost-efficient equipment control software. Your expertise will help bring high-tech solutions to life, from machine control and system calibration to hardware integration and advanced user interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Leading the architectural design and technical development of complex software systems.
- Analyzing customer needs and translating them into clear technical requirements.
- Designing, implementing, and testing control software in C#.
- Developing functionalities such as WPF, WinUI 3, and MAUI UIs, machine control and sequencing, hardware abstraction layers, subsystem communication, and calibration.
- Integrating SECS/GEM functionalities for equipment communication.
- Leading and mentoring a Scrum development team, guiding sprint planning, design reviews, and refactoring activities.
- Traveling and sharing knowledge across different locations and with global customers.
Locations
Our offices are located in Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), Da Nang (Vietnam), and Suzhou (China). You can choose the location that suits you best.
Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of experience in technical software development across various projects.
- Higher professional or university education in a relevant field.
- Strong background in C# object-oriented programming, WPF, and MVVM frameworks.
- 5+ years leading Scrum development teams, including requirement engineering and technical design reviews.
- Proficiency in applying Clean Code and SOLID principles with active design refactoring.
- Experience in equipment control software, including PC-based and embedded systems.
- Familiarity with version control and CI tools (Git, GitLab, GitHub, etc.).
