The impact you’ll make

As a Software Application Engineer at Lam, you will be part of the team driving innovation and deployment of Lam Semiverse Solutions.

What you’ll do

• Work closely with critical accounts on leading-edge technologies (Logic, DRAM, 3D NAND) to demonstrate the impact of Lam Semiverse Solutions products (including SEMulator3D software) to enable faster and more cost-effective learning cycles in technology development and manufacturing ramp-up.
• Collaborate with a global team of engineers to develop applications and use case demonstrations relevant to virtual twinning of the industry.
• Partner with the Semiverse Solutions Product Group and local Account/Sales teams to drive product strategy and business success.
• Take on ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor.

Who we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Material Science Engineering or related field with 12+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 8+ years’ experience; or PhD with 5+ years’ experience; or equivalent experience (Process Integration experience in advanced logic or memory technology).
• Good understanding of the semiconductor environment (product lifecycle from development to high volume manufacturing).
• Appetite for innovation and willingness to challenge established practices.
• Fast learner with excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Strong technical interest in digital/virtual twin solutions.
