Job description

Our client, one of Asia-Pacific’s leading organizations is looking for:

Software Analyst (contract)

• Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computing, Computer Science or equivalent qualification with experience in the IT or Infocomm industry, with exposure to end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Proficient in designing, developing and maintaining web applications using Microsoft .NET and front-end technologies (i.e. ASP.NET, C#, HTML/DHTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery)
• Experience in Java development using JDK 1.7 and above
• Development experience on Linux / Apache / MySQL / Php / Perl (LAMP)
• Experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), including web services integration using SOAP and/or REST based web services
• Working experience with one or more of the following relational databases and be proficient in using SQL: MySQL / MS-SQL / PostgreSQL / MariaDB / Amazon Aurora
• Experience in HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and Ajax
• Good to have experience in XSL and XML programming
• Good to have working experience with enterprise content management system
• Experience in requirements and impact analysis, including evaluating and recommending feasible technical implementations etc
• Experience in IT operational support, including incident management, defect tracking, source code version control, release management, deployment to Production
• Experience in Project management support, including maintaining issue log and change control records, documenting operational procedures, coordinating with users
