Job description

Job Title: Social Worker / Counsellor
Location: North-East Region

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients with varying levels of needs, risks, and safety concerns through comprehensive casework interventions.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes in case planning and implementation.
• Participate in or lead group work programmes targeting specific client populations or stakeholders, including partner agencies.
• Contribute to community development initiatives and provide recommendations to enhance outreach and service effectiveness.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director, Director, or Management.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A Degree, Graduate Diploma, or Master’s in Social Work or Counselling.
• Strong report writing skills with attention to detail and clarity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Well-developed organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple responsibilities.
