Job summary

Job Purpose

You shall be responsible for family/individual counselling, group work, assessment and recommendations for financial assistance and case management. Conduct casework and manage case consultations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform casework, delivery intervention and care plan
  • Develop and facilitate group work
  • Engage and work with the community agencies
  • Conduct family interview and financial assessment
  • Manage crisis and ensure client safe organisation
  • Conduct training to staff and stakeholders
  • Participate in professional courses to acquire specialised knowledge and skills
  • Perform administrative duties
Job Requirements
  • Degree and/ or Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work or equivalent from recognised universities.
  • Must be registered with Singapore Association of Social Worker (SASW) Accreditation Board.
  • Possess minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Possess experience working with persons with mild intellectual disabilities (MID).
  • Patient, team player and able to co-create new content tailored for students/trainees with MID.
  • Passionate, well organised, able to independently.
  • Able to communicate with students, trainees, caregivers and associates of different culture/ backgrounds, preferably conversant in major local dialects (in order to provide consultation to local dialects speaking teachers, parents and students.)
