As a Social Work Associate within the Allkin Youth Service, you will be working with children & youths aged 11 to 21 and their families.

Responsibilities

• Assist in casework and counselling interventions with expert guidance.
• Support the administrative functions essential to the casework and counselling and groupwork programmes.
• Assist in the execution of group work, community development, and program initiatives related to youthwork.
• Handle enquiries and manage intakes.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by HOD and supervisor.

Qualifications

• Preferred Polytechnic Diploma in Social Work.
• Excellent organizational skills, adept at supporting and enhancing social work interventions.
• Highly proficient in using Information & Technological platforms to complete administrative tasks well.
• Works well in a fast-paced environment and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Highly proficient in both oral and written communication, with strength in English.
• Preferably Malay speaking and highly interested in youthwork.
• Resourceful and skilled at collaborating with stakeholders to secure effective solutions for the community & to carry out programmes.
• In-depth knowledge and keen ability to interpret relevant policies and schemes impacting youths.
• Mature, independent, positive work attitude, and a team player.
