Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in Singapore is seeking a Social Work Assistant to provide support to Medical Social Workers. Responsibilities include managing outpatient clinic counters, attending to patient inquiries, conducting financial assessments, making home visits, and administrative tasks. Ideal candidates should have good communication skills and a Diploma or O-level qualification. Relevant experience is preferred.

Our Social Work Assistants will be responsible for providing support service to the Medical Social Workers (MSWs) in the Medical Social Work Department.

Job Responsibilities:

Your job responsibilities include:

Providing frontline service to man the outpatient clinics counters

Attending to clinic patients’ and their families’ enquiries

Conducting financial assessment interviews

Supporting MSWs to provide casework follow-up

Making home visits, accompanying and escorting patients on errands

Arranging for employment opportunities for patients

Providing administrative support for keeping and compilation of statistics

Handling reception and other office clerical duties.

Requirements:

Competency

Experience in a related field is preferred

Good communication and strong interpersonal skills
