With teams in Singapore, Dunedin, New Zealand, Bangkok, Taipei and Beijing, IFA has been recognized by Peabody, BAFTA, Royal Television Society, Cine Golden Eagle, Amnesty, New York TV and Asian Academy Awards, our films playing at Rotterdam, NYAFF, Sitges and Taipei film festivals amongst others. To build a digital presence, we're seeking a Social Media & YouTube Manager based in Singapore.

The role: we're seeking a passionate digital storyteller to elevate our social media channels and YouTube presence to match our premium content reputation, while building engaged communities around our diverse portfolio of scripted and unscripted content.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube) aligned with premium content releases
  • Create engaging content calendars coordinated with Netflix, HBO Asia, and National Geographic production schedules
  • Produce original video content, graphics, and written posts that reflect our award-winning brand voice
  • Manage YouTube channel including video editing, thumbnail creation, and optimization for international audiences
  • Develop content strategies for drama series, documentaries, and branded content campaigns
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all platforms
  • Build and nurture online communities around our productions and brand
  • Collaborate with talent and crew to create behind-the-scenes content
  • Manage influencer partnerships and collaborative content opportunities
  • Track performance metrics and provide regular reporting on growth and engagement
  • Optimize content based on analytics insights and platform algorithm changes
  • Implement SEO best practices for YouTube and social media discoverability
  • Stay current with social media trends and emerging platforms
  • Document high-profile productions for social media content creation across drama, documentary, and branded content
  • Coordinate with international production teams on Netflix, HBO Asia, and National Geographic projects
  • Capture behind-the-scenes content from award-winning productions and talent collaborations
  • Manage live streaming and real-time social media coverage of premieres, festivals, and industry events
  • Create promotional campaigns for new releases across multiple international markets
  • Collaborate with talent from our drama series and documentary productions
  • 2+ years of experience managing social media accounts for brands or organizations
  • Proven track record of growing social media followings and engagement
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
  • Strong graphic design skills (Photoshop, Canva, or equivalent)
  • Experience with YouTube channel management and optimization
  • Understanding of social media analytics tools and metrics
  • Knowledge of additional languages (Mandarin) ideal for regional Asian content
  • Understanding of international streaming platforms and their audiences (Netflix, HBO, Discovery)
  • Experience with film festival and premiere marketing campaigns
  • Photography and videography skills for high-quality content creation
  • Experience with live streaming platforms and behind-the-scenes content
  • Familiarity with Asia-Pacific digital media landscape and entertainment industry
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a small team environment
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
