You'll analyze trends on Instagram and TikTok, study hooks, and help plan content calendars. Ideal candidates are studying marketing/communications, with genuine interest in social media and analytics, and comfortable working

• Genuine interest in social media, content strategy, and digital marketing trends.
• Strong research instincts and thorough, not just skimming.
• Able to work independently and manage your own time.
• Familiar with Instagram and TikTok not just as a user.
• Bonus: experience with content calendars, social media tools, or marketing analytics.

Responsibilities

You'll be the person who knows what's working before anyone else does. This role is equal parts research and strategy — digging into competitors, understanding what content resonates in our clients' niches, and translating that into actionable direction for the team.

What you'll be doing:

• Competitor and niche research — mapping out who's winning, how they're doing it, and what we can learn from them
• Content pillar research — identifying the content types, themes, and formats that perform best in each niche
• Trend and virality analysis — staying ahead of what's trending on Instagram and TikTok and flagging opportunities weekly
• Hook and copy research — studying what phrasing, angles, and hooks drive engagement in similar spaces
• Content planning and calendar management — turning research into structured content plans ready for execution
• Weekly audio and trend refresh — keeping the team updated on trending sounds and formats

What We're Looking For

• Background in marketing, communications, business, or a related field (diploma or degree, current students welcome)
• Genuine interest in social media, content strategy, and digital marketing trends
• Strong research instincts — you enjoy digging, not just skimming
