Job description

We're seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Marketing Manager to join our team at My Piano Room, an music education provider for young children in Singapore. As our ideal candidate, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing engaging social media strategies to attract new students, retain existing ones, and build our online community.


Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Management: Create, curate, and schedule content (posts, stories, reels, etc.) for our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).

2. Content Creation: Develop high-quality visual content (graphics, videos, photos) to showcase our students, teachers, and school events.

3. Marketing Campaigns: Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns to promote our programs, events, and services.

4. Blogging: Write and publish engaging blog posts (approx. 2-3 per month) on topics related to music education, parenting, and child development.

5. Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze social media metrics to track engagement, growth, and campaign effectiveness.

6. Community Engagement: Respond to comments, messages, and reviews on social media in a timely and professional manner.

7. Collaboration: Work closely with our team of teachers, administrators, and external partners to ensure consistent branding and messaging.


Requirements

1. Education: Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

2. Experience: 0-2 years of experience in social media marketing, preferably in an education or non-profit setting.

3. Skills:

  • Proficiency in social media platforms, content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud), and scheduling software (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
  • Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).

4. Passion: A genuine interest in music education, child development, and social media marketing.
