Supporting the Marketing Communications Manager, you will be responsible for managing the hotel’s owned social media channels, ideating social-first, relevant and on-brand content on an always-on and tactical basis to drive engagement. This includes helping to develop social media content calendars and high-quality social assets, working with influencers/guests to create and amplify user-generated content reflecting our brand’s values. The candidate must be comfortable with copywriting for social media channels and must ensure a consistent brand identity across social channels.
Below is a list of non-exhaustive tasks to be delivered in refreshing, creative ways to excellent and high-quality standards.
- Content Strategy: Work with the Marketing Communications Manager to plan and execute the hotel’s social media strategy aligned with the hotel’s commercial/marketing priorities, objectives and brand identity. Deliver reactive content on top of planned content.
- Social Media Asset Creation:
- Proactively take high-quality, social-ready images and develop reels to post real-time, authentic hotel content. Candidate must be very hands-on, and must identify and capture content for social media channels. Candidate will need to work closely with multiple internal departments to schedule and coordinate social media shoots.
- Proactively identify User Generated Content (UGC) to post on owned channels, with permission.
- Collaborate with photographers, influencers, media to facilitate the creation of high-quality, compelling visual social media content.
- Social Media Channel Management: Proactively publish content across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok. Work with agencies on other social media channels.
- Community Management & Reviews: Actively track and manage public comments/feedback and private direct messages across owned social media channels in a timely and brand-appropriate manner. Monitor, engage and respond to guest interactions and messages in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
- Social Media and Digital Ad Management: Work with Corporate Marketing teams to manage and optimise social media ad campaigns to attain commercial and marketing objectives.
- Impact and Measurement: Proactively track social media KPIs on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis. Actively document social media content/media clippings. Analyse metrics and generate monthly performance reports, offering insights and recommendations to optimise. Candidate must be proactive in taking learnings and tweak accordingly.

Who We’re Looking For
- Minimally 1+ year of working experience in social media, integrated marketing and communications in hospitality, F&B, travel, lifestyle sectors.
- Natural content creator and copywriter for social media content.
- Minimum Degree in Marketing, Business Communications or related fields from a recognised tertiary institution.
- Curious and creative, proactive, excellent verbal and written communication skills, collaborative team player, responsible, problem solver, possesses a good attitude.
- Keeps up-to-date with industry trends, platform updates, technologies, best practices, competitor activity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Canva, Sprinkler and other creative tools
