Job description

As Social Media Executive, you will be the voice and visual storyteller for the EtonHouse brand across social platforms. You will play a hands-on role in creating, curating, and capturing compelling content that showcases the everyday magic in our schools. This role requires someone who is proactive, mobile, and deeply attuned to what engages parents and educators in the digital space. You will spend time on the ground in schools, both in Singapore and occasionally overseas, to bring authentic stories to life and amplify the voices of our students, educators, and families.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Create and curate original content (copy, photos, videos, reels, stories) for EtonHouse’s social media platforms that reflects the brand’s voice, values, and visual identity

  • Visit schools regularly to capture real-time, story-led content and build a pipeline of organic material for use across channels

  • Engage with the community — including parents, educators, and students — to identify and encourage user-generated content (UGC) and authentic storytelling

  • Collaborate with influencers and brand advocates, including shortlisting, outreach, coordination, and content follow-up

  • Plan, schedule, and publish content using social media management tools, ensuring consistency and platform optimisation

  • Monitor and moderate community conversations, responding to messages and comments with warmth and professionalism

  • Track and report performance metrics, offering insights and suggestions to optimise engagement and reach

  • Support paid social campaigns in collaboration with agencies when required

  • Stay ahead of digital trends, tools, and content formats relevant to education and parenting communities

  • Support the development of toolkits and guidance for schools launching new channels or campaigns

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field

  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing social media channels, with hands-on content creation and community engagement

  • Strong photography, videography, and writing skills

  • Working knowledge of design and editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut)

  • Familiar with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Later, Sprout Social)

  • Comfortable working on-site at schools and travelling if required (local and overseas)

  • Able to build relationships with internal teams and external collaborators

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines

  • Passion for storytelling, education, and building meaningful connections with audiences
