Role Summary:

We’re looking for a Social Media Analyst to support our leading tech client. You’ll craft data-led strategies, uncover insights, and shape content that connects with a B2B audience. We need a curious, collaborative thinker who’s passionate about social and driven by impact.

Role:

  • Lead the strategy, setup, and operationalisation of social media listening and analysis for key business units and markets.
  • Ensure the timely and insightful delivery of measurement, listening, and other analytical projects.
  • Manage or help develop new tools and best practices, while building strong relationships with internal and external partners in the social listening and analysis space.
  • Implement and advocate for the use of consistent and globally aligned measurement standards and methodologies.
  • Lead key campaign measurement projects using owned, paid, and earned social data for various marketing and product teams.
  • Uncover data-based insights, collaborate with marketing teams to run experiments, and iterate to find winning social strategies.
  • Translate complex analytics into easy-to-understand, actionable recommendations for internal marketing teams and relevant agencies.
  • Report on social program performance on a regular basis, in addition to providing ongoing listening reports.

You:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience as a social media or social listening analyst within an agency or brand environment.
  • Skilled in working with social analytics tools (e.g., Brandwatch, Sprinklr) and developing effective boolean queries.
  • A strong interest in data-driven marketing and an understanding of the critical role data plays in campaigns and always-on strategies.
  • Proven ability to visualise data and use storytelling to improve decision-making, drive action, and provoke new ideas for marketers.
  • An appreciation for structure, operational clarity, and simplicity in your work.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant social platforms and their data.
  • Demonstrated ability to set campaign goals, KPIs, and targets.
  • The ability to be self-sufficient, motivated, and positive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Proficiency in data management and visualisation tools (e.g., Google Sheets, Google Slides, Looker Studio).
  • A natural problem-solver, adept at facing challenges and creating solutions.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English. Fluency in an additional language to support projects across various markets is a plus.
  • Skills with SQL, Python / Colab, and statistical analysis are a bonus.
