Job summary

The Monetary Authority of Singapore is looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to work in their 24 x 7 Cybersecurity Operations Centre. This role includes developing and enhancing capabilities for advanced cyber threat monitoring, investigating cybersecurity threats, and leading initiatives to improve efficiency through automation. Responsibilities

• Part of a 24 x 7 Cybersecurity Operations Centre (SOC).
• Develop and enhance SOC for cyber threat monitoring.
• Investigate and respond to cybersecurity threats.
• Perform cyber threat monitoring and rules tuning.
• Lead or participate in cybersecurity forums/projects.

Skills

Background in Engineering, Computer Science or related fields

Experience with SIEM and EDR/XDR

Knowledge in hacking and performing digital investigations

Knowledge in networking

Knowledge in Windows or Linux administration

Knowledge in cloud services

Knowledge in basic scripting/programming

Strong analytical skills

Problem solving skills
