Job summary

NETS, via its BCS subsidiary, seeks a CSOC Engineer to strengthen the security of its payments infrastructure in Singapore. You will monitor, detect, investigate and respond to cyber threats 24/7, tune SIEM/SOAR tools, and contribute to threat hunting and incident response efforts.

You will work with IT and security teams to identify vulnerabilities, automate monitoring, and support forensics activities, ensuring rapid containment and robust security operations.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Security.
• At least 6 years of experience in a SOC/CERT/CIRT or similar incident response environment.
• Knowledge of MAS TRMG, Cyber Hygiene notices and cybersecurity practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor cyber defence tools to detect threats and vulnerabilities.
• Review and enhance monitoring use cases for effectiveness and coverage.
• Develop and tune SIEM/SOAR, automating monitoring and triage processes.
• Identify security weaknesses and coordinate remediation with IT teams.
• Perform proactive threat hunting to detect IOCs and TTPs.
• Support 24x7 security operations with Tier 2/3 incident escalations and investigations.
• Assist in digital forensic investigations and evidence analysis.
