ENCORA TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. is seeking an entry-level SOC-oriented candidate to support security operations, monitoring, and incident documentation. The role emphasizes learning SIEM use, log analysis, and basic threat detection across Windows, firewall, and authentication logs.

You will gain exposure to IAM concepts, PAM, EDR/XDR, and cloud basics while working in a 24/7/365 operations model to support rostered weekends and nights.

Qualifications

  • Foundational understanding of SOC structure and incident response lifecycle (detection -> analysis -> containment -> recovery -> reporting).
  • Hands-on exposure to SIEM tools (e.g., LogRhythm, ELK, Splunk equivalent) – log monitoring, alert review, dashboard usage.
  • Basic knowledge of log analysis and threat detection concepts (Windows logs, firewall logs, authentication logs).
  • Understanding of cybersecurity technologies such as PAM, EDR, XDR, SOAR, IDS/IPS, WAF, DLP (conceptual knowledge acceptable).
  • Exposure to cloud/platform security concepts (AWS/Azure/GCP basics acceptable).
  • Exposure to networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, ports, firewalls).
  • Ability to perform research on cybersecurity best practices and produce process/procedural documentation.
  • Willingness to support rostered weekend/night operations.
