As a Senior Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of project strategies related to patch management and incident management.

What will you do?

  • Advanced Incident Management: Lead responses to security fault alerts and escalations. Perform incident escalation within SLA to technical teams or vendors. Mentor junior engineers.
  • Expert Troubleshooting: Support security solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with teams and vendors for resolution.
  • Strategic Patch Management: Plan and oversee patch strategies to mitigate vulnerabilities and ensure compliance.
  • Service and Change Requests: Manage and prioritize requests within SLA, ensuring timely responses.
  • Advanced System Monitoring: Monitor security systems, perform health checks, and address gaps proactively.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with IT and security teams to report incidents and improve security measures.
  • Proactive Security Measures: Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and lead initiatives to enhance security.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Maintain security standards, conduct audits, and document policies.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a security domain expert, provide guidance, and evaluate new technologies.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Mentor junior staff and foster continuous learning.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in relevant fields.
  • 5-10 years of experience in IT or cybersecurity roles.
  • Experience with technologies like Firewalls, Endpoint Security, EDR, PAM, MFA, SOC.
  • Knowledge of IP networking and Firewalls (e.g., Checkpoint, Fortigate).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
