Snr Project Manager (PMP,Exp Smart Accessories,Full Life Cycle Design fm Scrape)

Location : Yishun/ Woodlands

Remunerations : $8,000 to $10,000 basic + 13 mths Aws + V.Bonus + yearly increment + flexi benefit and permanent staff benefit

Responsibilities:

1. Reports to R&D Director and enables sophisticated product development or technology projects to be implemented efficiently and in compliance with product requirements with budget and timeline constraints.
2. Project management of product development and life-cycle management projects with the support of experienced principal project managers as coach and mentor. Products involved are total stations, digital levels or GNSS surveying systems and related smart accessories (including batteries).
3. Reporting progress to business stakeholders as well as inspiring team members to see the big picture and push toward their shared goals.
4. Ensure Innovation Process (IP) is applied appropriately to the relevant projects.
5. Ensure all stakeholders and project resources, including external partners (e.g. technology providers, subject matter consultants and suppliers) are in place, fully briefed regularly and managed through timely decision-making process.
6. Create requirements, budgets, project planning and related action plans, planning and managing project meetings, risk mitigation, facilitating project activities, controlling requirements and monitoring costs.
7. Must be able to build strong relationships and communicate directly within cross-functional teams and with stakeholders, act proactively and with foresight with internal and external stakeholders.
8. Excellent meeting, workshop and conference facilitation skills with proven knowledge of how to foster attendee participation and collaboration in small and large groups.

Requirements:

1. Master's Degree in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering or any related discipline.
2. Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience as a Senior/ Project Manager or similar position responsible for defining and managing project scope, timelines, profitability and effective delivery of products or services.
3. PMI or PMP certification or similar from an accredited organization preferred.
4. Complete at least one full cycle of new product development project management (in a design environment), *new design from scratch not enhancement*
5. Accountable for the success of an initiative, often coordinating efforts across departments and managing cross-functional teams.
6. Leadership abilities with excellent conflict management skills.
7. Familiar with Microsoft Office and related tools (Microsoft Teams), user knowledge of Miro is a plus.
8. Willing to travel for occasional overseas business trips.
