Job summary

A leading healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking a Transfer Coordination and Bed Management professional to oversee patient admissions and transfers. Responsibilities include managing patient bed assignments and liaising with nursing staff for efficient transfers. Ideal candidates will have relevant educational qualifications and strong communication skills. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply. This position offers a varied working schedule with shift allowances.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years of working experience, preferably in healthcare industry.

  • Liaise with Portering services and nursing for patient transfers.
  • Perform data entry and reporting for patient transfer KPI.

Job description

Transfer Coordination and Bed Management

  • Monitor and manage admitted patients whose inpatient beds have been cleaned and ready for occupation

  • Liaise with Portering services and nursing for the transfers of inpatients from ED to their respective wards

  • Perform data entry and reporting for patient transfer KPI

  • Assist to perform bed reservation for patients who require admission which includes bed search and assignment according to department protocol and policy.

  • Liaise with clinicians and inpatient nursing for bed related matters

  • Any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • GCE ‘N’/ ‘O’ / ‘A’ Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in any relevant discipline

  • 1 to 2 years of working experience, preferably in healthcare industry

  • Candidates with no prior experience are welcome to apply

  • Good interpersonal & communication skills

  • Good at multi-tasking

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Working Schedule:

  • 10am – 7.30pm (Mon – Thurs) / 10am – 7pm (Fri) or

  • 3 rotating shifts (shift allowances included)
