Snr Executive/Assistant Manager, HSSE (Safety Business Partner)

Job Duties
- To work with relevant stakeholders in achieving a safe workplace environment for all employees & in-house contractors.
- To attend/conduct safety related Meetings (i.e. Workplace Safety Committee Meeting) to address safety matters and to follow-up with closure.
- To work with relevant stakeholders to identify and eliminate any potential hazards/risks that may result in human injury and/or property damage.
- To conduct/support in all external/internal audits and follow-up on all CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Actions).
- To lead/assist to drive Safety Improvement Programs or initiatives to improve workplace safety.
- To communicate/educate the importance of WSH to respective stakeholders.
- To be familiar with WSH Act, Fire Safety Act, and ISO 45001 to ensure compliance with these requirements, including Statutory Equipment & Licenses.
- To develop and conduct an annual review of Risk Management/Assessment for respective work processes and work areas.
- To maintain and upkeep all safety documents (i.e. Risk Assessments, Training Records, etc.).
- To monitor all KPIs and ensure timely submission of Reports.
- To be competent in workplace safety data analysis to identify safety-related issues/risks with solutions.
- To advise/render support to relevant BU/HOD/stakeholders for all safety matters.
- To work with relevant BU/HOD/stakeholders/Government to ensure compliance with the Fire Safety Act for all fire protective equipment.
- To represent the organization in liaising with external stakeholders/Government.
- To conduct incident and accident investigations and reporting.
- To plan and conduct routine site visits and inspections on safety.
- To assist/support in all safety-related matters.
Requirements
- At least WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (Level C).
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in managing WSH, Fire Safety & ISO requirements.
- Preferably with own transport.
- Experience in a food processing/packaging environment.
- Well organized in work and having a systematic approach to problem-solving.
- Having an open and objective mindset when addressing issues and/or offering solutions.
- Ability to prioritize work well and having good decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Good presentation skills, both orally and in writing.
