Job summary

SATS Ltd., headquartered in Singapore, seeks a qualified finance professional to lead group consolidation and reporting. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in financial accounting, group reporting, statutory reporting, or external audit.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International) and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Review monthly financial submissions and group reporting packages from subsidiaries, associates, and joint ventures as part of the group consolidation and reporting process.
  • Perform intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Prepare Group consolidated financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International).
  • Perform analytical reviews and variance analysis of consolidated financial results with meaningful insights on key movements.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements (ACRA, SGX, audit, and related regulations).
  • Coordinate with Finance teams from various regions, external auditors, corporate secretaries, and government authorities on reporting and compliance matters.
  • Support the implementation of new accounting standards and continuous improvements in Group consolidation and reporting processes and internal controls.
  • Support the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of financial reporting and consolidation systems.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the General Ledger Shared Services team to ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review monthly financial submissions and reporting packages from subsidiaries, associates, and joint ventures as part of the group consolidation and reporting process
  • Perform intercompany reconciliations and work with relevant stakeholders to investigate and resolve discrepancies on a timely basis
  • Prepare Group consolidated financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International)
  • Perform analytical reviews and variance analysis of consolidated financial results, providing meaningful insights on key movements
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements, including ACRA, SGX, audit, and other applicable regulations.
  • Coordinate and liaise with Finance teams from various regions, external auditors, corporate secretaries, and government authorities on reporting and compliance matters.
  • Support the implementation of new accounting standards and ensure compliance with evolving Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International), and continuous improvements in Group consolidation, financial reporting processes, and internal controls.
  • Support the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of financial reporting and consolidation systems.
  • Provide support to the General Ledger Shared Services team on an ad hoc basis to maintain end-to-end knowledge of Group reporting and accounting processes. Ensure the accurate and timely processing, recording, reconciliation, and reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial information as part of General Ledger function
  • Any ad-hoc duties as assigned
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent professional accounting qualification
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, group reporting, statutory reporting, or external audit, depending on the position applied for
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International) and financial reporting requirements
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively across teams and geographies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Knowledge of SAP and OneStream would be an added advantage
