Introduction:

The candidate will be part of the supplier quality team for GlobalFoundries Singapore. The primary responsibility is to continuously improve & maintain the effectiveness of quality systems & trouble-shooting skills to assure world class quality of equipment and part suppliers, and to manage & develop these suppliers to meet GlobalFoundries’ quality goals & expectations.

Your Job :

Drive & develop suppliers / subcontractors to provide consistent, good quality product & service through execution & continuous enhancement of the following activities / systems:

• Supplier capability assessment & qualification process

• Supplier Performance rating

• Supplier Quality System audit

• Review Suppliers’ SPC program & drive for continuous improvement

• Proactive participation in resolving issues pertaining to quality of product or services provided by eqpt and part suppliers

• Continuous effort to streamline SQC procedures for productivity improvement

• Manage change request from suppliers, ensuring no disruption to the eqpt parts' supply

• Ensure on time follow-up on implementation of effective Corrective / Preventive actions or improvement plans identified through audit, performance rating, CAR etc

• Publish periodic performance measurement indices for SQM to drive suppliers / contractors’ quality improvement activities

• Lead internal / cross-functional teams in problem solving / benchmarking / continual improvement programs

• Shows mastery of some aspects of a technical discipline, with recognition for his/her contributions as technical team member.

• Initiative and creativity are exercised within limits defined by job scope.

• Uses standard engineering methods to analyze and resolve problems

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Required Qualifications :

• Degree in Engineering, BS + 2-4 years of experience or MS + 1-3 year

• Semiconductor processing knowledge/experience/understanding are preferred.

• Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a cross functional team environment.
