Job summary

ITCAN PTE. LIMITED in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Snowflake Data Engineer to build and support reliable ingestion and ELT pipelines, dimensional data models, and production-ready data solutions.

You will work with senior engineers, architects, QA, cloud/platform teams, and BI users through design, development, testing, deployment, and operational handover. The candidate should have 3+ years of data engineering experience with Snowflake, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with AWS (S3/IAM)

Qualifications

• > 3 years of data engineering, warehousing, or data pipeline experience.
• Hands-on Snowflake experience or capable of ramping quickly on Snowflake.
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of dimensional modelling and data quality.

Responsibilities

• > Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data structures across RAW/ODS/DW schemas.
• > Implement ingestion and orchestration using Snowflake features (Stages, Snowpipe, Tasks, Streams).
• > Develop and maintain dimensional models and data transformations.
• > Write optimized SQL for data transformation and anomaly detection.
• > Implement data quality checks, logging, and error handling.
• > Support rerun/recovery for failed data processing and integration with AWS S3/IAM.
• > Collaborate with engineers, QA, and BI users through SDLC and handover.
