Job summary

TANGSPAC SEARCH PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Credit Analyst for an 8 months renewable contract in Singapore, based at Textile Centre, Jalan Sultan (nearest MRT Lavender).

You will independently assess SME credit proposals, analyse financial statements, and collaborate with Relationship Managers to structure facilities aligned with risk appetite while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in credit assessment, underwriting, risk, SME lending or banking operations.
• Experience in unsecured lending and credit card applications is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis: cash flow, leverage, profitability, liquidity and debt servicing.
• Familiarity with CBES, ACRA, credit bureau reports and repayment conduct analysis.
• Good knowledge of KYC and regulatory requirements in Singapore.
• Good attention to detail when reviewing credit documentation and information.
• Strong stakeholder management with Relationship Managers and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent credit assessments for SME clients by analysing financial statements, business performance, repayment conduct and risk exposure.
• Review and assess lending proposals to determine creditworthiness and risks.
• Analyse key financial indicators including cash flow, leverage, profitability, liquidity and debt servicing.
• Assess industry, business and customer risks and identify early warning indicators.
• Review credit reports and financial information to support lending decisions.
• Evaluate customer creditworthiness for onboarding and ongoing relations.
• Review and validate credit documentation to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Review customer info from CBES, ACRA and repayment conduct as part of risk framework.
• Ensure credit proposals and docs comply with policies, authorities and risk frameworks.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers to structure facilities aligned with needs and risk appetite.
• Verify credit reviews and risk assessments for various lending proposals.
• Identify and escalate exceptions and material risks to approval authorities.
