Job summary

TALENTSIS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced System Architect to design and govern the technical architecture for Smart Utilities & Infrastructure solutions.

You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure systems that align with enterprise architecture standards. Responsibilities include designing end-to-end architecture, translating requirements into scalable solutions, leading architecture reviews, and ensuring cybersecurity compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS, IT, CE, or related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of system/enterprise architecture experience.
• Experience designing distributed, cloud or hybrid architectures.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices.
• Experience with databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server) and data architecture.
• Familiarity with EA frameworks and secure-by-design principles.
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end system architecture across hardware, software, networking and integration.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, high-performance solutions.
• Develop architecture designs, technical specs, and implementation standards.
• Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and infrastructure solutions.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data protection, and enterprise architecture standards.
• Support system integration, testing, commissioning, performance optimisation, and lifecycle management.
• Identify technical risks and work with project teams to develop mitigation strategies.
