Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in system or enterprise architecture.
• Proven experience designing distributed, cloud, or hybrid architectures.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), microservices, APIs, integration patterns, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server) and data architecture.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and secure-by-design principles.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure and data storage technologies is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end system architecture, including hardware, software, networking, and system integration.
• Translate business and operational requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.
• Develop architecture designs, technical specifications, and implementation standards.
• Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and infrastructure solutions.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data protection, and enterprise architecture standards.
• Support system integration, testing, commissioning, performance optimisation, and lifecycle management.
• Identify technical risks and work with project teams to develop effective mitigation strategies.
