Job summary

Evonik Methionine SEA Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a maintenance professional to assess, plan, and optimize plant maintenance activities.

You will convert notifications into SAP work orders, ensure contractor work meets specs, and maintain critical documents to company standards. The role involves supporting turnarounds, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining cost-efficient maintenance plans while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in chemical or mechanical engineering.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Willing to work on Jurong Island; company transport provided.
• Preference for candidates with maintenance/repair experience in facilities and machinery.
• Strong understanding of chemical or mechanical process equipment.
• Good communication to foster teamwork and knowledge exchange.
• Ability to work without supervision and guide planning and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Assess maintenance notifications and convert to SAP work orders.
• Check maintenance contractor work against specifications.
• Maintain master documents and plant documentation to standards.
• Support plant turnarounds and improvement processes.
• Maintain maintenance plans including preventive measures and inspections.
• Cost analysis and reporting for maintenance effectiveness.
• Identify process shortcomings and address via change management.
• Work within procedures to achieve goals.
