About the Team

Matrixdock is a real-world asset (RWA) tokenization platform, offering tokenized gold (XAUm), tokenized silver (XAGm), and a short-term treasury bill token (STBT). XAUm is fully backed 1:1 by LBMA-accredited gold bars of 99.99% purity and is live on Ethereum, BSC, Solana, Sui, and other major chains. You will join the core smart contract team and own the on-chain systems that carry real assets.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and ship the core smart contracts for our tokenized RWA products
  • Build and maintain protocol implementations across EVM chains (Ethereum / BSC / Tron) and non-EVM chains (Solana / Sui / Stellar), adapting the design to each chain’s native model, and enable multi-chain issuance and cross-chain transfers through messaging protocols such as LayerZero and CCIP
  • Build the contract security and governance framework - access control, timelocked operations, and upgradeable architecture (UUPS proxy) - ensuring safe, controlled upgrades and backward-compatible storage layouts
  • Develop a deep understanding of leading DeFi protocols (e.g., Uniswap, Aave) and own third-party protocol integrations
  • Write secure, gas-efficient contract code with high test coverage; drive third-party security audits and remediate findings
  • Build on-chain monitoring and operations tooling to detect anomalous events, especially around fund-sensitive operations such as minting and burning
  • Stay current with EIPs, new chain features, and industry security incidents; evaluate and integrate relevant advancements into our stack
  • Contribute to the overall architecture of our blockchain systems and provide technical guidance to team members
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or a related field; 5+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in smart contract development
  • Strong proficiency in at least one major blockchain platform such as Ethereum, Solana, or Sui, with hands-on smart contract development in Solidity, Rust, or Move; deep understanding of your chain’s execution model, gas mechanics, and storage layout; practical experience with upgradeable contracts, including performing live upgrades
  • Proficiency with the mainstream development frameworks for your chain (e.g., Hardhat / Foundry, Anchor, Sui CLI), with solid engineering practice across testing, fuzzing, deployment, and on-chain verification
  • Deep understanding of smart contract security best practices; able to identify and prevent common attacks such as reentrancy, access-control bypass, price manipulation, and front-running; experience working with security auditors and remediating findings
  • Familiarity with the OpenZeppelin contracts library and the design principles behind security components such as AccessControl, TimelockController, and Pausable
  • Solid understanding of DeFi building blocks: AMMs, oracles, and asset-pegging mechanisms
  • Working knowledge of digital signatures and on-chain signature verification (e.g., EIP-712, replay protection), plus a good grasp of blockchain fundamentals
  • A strong sense of ownership - able to own core modules end-to-end with minimal supervision and help shape the product’s technical direction
  • A strong communicator, with the ability to write clear technical documentation
  • A security-first mindset: rigorous, detail-oriented, and ready to be accountable for institutional-grade asset contracts
Nice to Have
  • Experience building contracts for reserve-backed or pegged assets (e.g., PAXG, XAUt, wBTC, USDC), stablecoins, or RWA projects
  • Familiarity with at least one non-EVM stack - Rust (Solana Anchor / Soroban) or Move (Sui / Aptos); experience shipping one protocol across multiple chains is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with cross-chain messaging protocols such as LayerZero, Wormhole, CCIP, or Axelar
  • Experience with DEX integrations or concentrated liquidity market making (CLMM)
  • Public audit reports, bug bounty records, CTF achievements, or open-source contract projects
  • Experience integrating oracles such as Chainlink (e.g., Proof of Reserve) and implementing safeguards against price manipulation
  • Professional fluency in English for direct communication with audit firms and ecosystem partners
