Job summary

Schneider Electric in Singapore is seeking a Services Engineer to be the technical expert for customers, delivering hands-on installation, maintenance, and repair of building management systems.

You will design, program, test, and commission BMS solutions, provide training and support, and ensure projects meet safety and quality standards while driving energy efficiency and digital transformation. Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Computer, or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in BMS/BAS/IBMS or Smart Building projects.
• Experience in engineering, programming, commissioning, or application development of BMS solutions.
• Strong customer-facing and project coordination experience.
• Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, KNX, OPC, MQTT protocols.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, chillers, AHUs, pumps, and cooling towers.
• Knowledge of databases, SQL, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Understanding of networking including TCP/IP, switches, routers, cybersecurity.
• Experience with cloud-connected building platforms and IoT is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Building Operation is preferred.
• Programming and scripting abilities.
• Understanding of smart building tech, digital twins, AI analytics, sustainability.
• Knowledge of BIM, CAD, building design workflows.
• Familiarity with LEED, Green Mark, SmartScore, WiredScore, or similar frameworks.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management.
• Self-motivated with continuous learning mindset and passion for smart buildings.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop BMS control strategies and graphics for building automation projects.
• Configure and program BMS controllers, supervisory systems, and field devices.
• Perform FAT, SAT, and system commissioning activities.
• Troubleshoot BMS software, hardware, networking, and communication issues.
• Support project execution teams in engineering design reviews and site deployment.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including schematics and drawings.
• Optimize system performance through analytics, trend analysis, and energy efficiency improvements.
• Provide technical support, training, and guidance to customers and service teams.
• Ensure project delivery is on time and within budget and meets customer requirements.
• Comply with safety, cybersecurity, and quality procedures.
• Support digital transformation initiatives involving smart building tech, IoT, cloud, and connected services.
