Job summary

EXPAND CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a highly motivated Technical Manager to lead the technical and engineering aspects of civil and structural projects, ensuring on-site operations run smoothly and compliant with schedule and budget.

You will coordinate consultants, subcontractors, and project teams, monitor progress, prepare status reports, and uphold quality, safety, and contractual obligations in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Professional recognition by PE Board Singapore (PEB) or Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) is required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant site civil/structural experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all technical and engineering activities on-site to ensure smooth execution of civil and structural works.
• Monitor project progress and coordinate site activities to resolve technical or operational issues promptly.
• Prepare accurate and timely project status reports for internal management and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate structural details and design implementation to align with project objectives and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety regulations, statutory requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, clients, and project teams to facilitate effective communication and coordination.
• Respond effectively to challenges in a fast-paced and dynamic construction environment while maintaining project timelines and quality.
