Job Summary
Responsible for providing advisory services to the purchaser or the purchaser’s erection contractors. The goal is to ensure that the erection work performed by third parties is technically correct and completed in accordance with the company’s Quality standards and Environmental, Health, and Safety standards.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide advice and technical support to the purchaser or their contractor, including organizing, planning, and executing erection activities related to equipment without taking over the cost or schedule responsibility.
- Assist with material identification against erection documents.
- Provide expertise to ensure compliance with quality and equipment specifications.
- Verify the availability of erection documents, tools, or special tools.
- Witness quality records and as-built documents in accordance with company standards.
- Record and report deviations from company standards or events of non-compliance with provided recommendations or standards.
- Adhere to applicable Field Service instructions and project or site regulations.
- Monitor, investigate, and take remedial actions for work variances, deviations, non-conformance, extra work, and claims to minimize cost impacts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in site construction execution, especially with Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG).
- Familiarity with standards such as ISO 9001:2015, ASME code 31.1, and site Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies.
- Experience in site construction within a combined cycle power plant.
- Excellent communication skills for partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a multinational environment.
- Completed formal internal training in power plant construction and engineering.
